Steph's best friend Jen and her husband Glenn welcomed their first child into the world in the wee hours Monday morning. Nathaniel James was all of 6lbs. 14 oz. so when Linnea gets to meet her little pal we are sure she is going to look like quite the giant even though they are only 26 days apart!
Linnea's great grandpa & grammie Citro came to visit her again this week.
Our friends John & Kristi came to meet Linnea and ended up helping out comforting her quite a bit on one of her more fussy days.
Our cat Katie is no longer afraid of Linnea. The only times she prefers to stay outside are when she starts to come in and hears Linnea crying. Otherwise, she's not scared & has resumed one of her favorite things to do which is riding on our shoulders.
Linnea got to visit at her grammy's for the first time Saturday and Midnight the old lady cat of the house decided she didn't want to be left out of the cuddling. Linnea started out her day by catching us off guard and using up almost all of her diapers in a very short time and left us running to the store to get more. She is slowly training us and we are slowly learning. She apparently already knows that grammy's house is a good place to be fed and asked very persistently to stop there on the way home!
Linnea had fun charming her grandpa (Ben's dad) who came up for the afternoon.
Linnea smiles more and more everyday and we love watching to see what new face she will make next!

Linnea got to meet her Uncle Joel and hang out with him some before he headed off to meetings. She didn't quite cooperate and arrive before her uncle Joel and Aunt Laurie moved to Texas, but we were really happy that she got to meet Joel so soon after she was born. Hopefully she will get to meet her aunt Laurie soon!
Sleeping was definitely Linnea's favorite activity the whole time she had visitors.
This is Linnea's new favorite way to take naps during the day, on her tummy, on her diaper changing pad.
Linnea got to meet her Aunt Jivy last Thursday. She doesn't know it yet, but we are sure someday she will love getting to meet Jivy's horses and hear all sorts of silly stories about what her mommy was like growing up.
Linnea and her daddy slept in late and almost missed her first dr's appointment.
She was just too cute her mommy didn't want to wake her up.
Linnea meets baby Emma who was born 3 days after her on January 6th. We look forward to seeing Linnea and Emma grow up together.
Mommy and Linnea are nice & cozy & very happy that a long day is almost over. When we took Linnea to the dr's he was concerned that she would have to be hospitalized for jaundice. After a visit to the hospital to be tested and meet Emma and a return trip to the dr's, we were happy to learn that she is doing just fine and is a healthy little baby!
Linnea got to meet our neighbor & very special lady from church, Ms. Kimbrell. Linnea was a wonderful little hostess & stayed awake & happy the whole time we enjoyed a wonderful meal that Ms. Kimbrell brought.
Linnea wrapped up her long day by taking a nap with her auntie Rosalie.
We saw this onesie the night before we went into the hospital & decided that we would get it if we ended up having a little girl. She was truly worth the wait, even if it did seem like she never wanted to come out!
This was Linnea's first bath at home, so far she loves the whole process.
