Saturday Afternoon

Steph's grandpa and dad came over to help Ben fix a belt that had popped off the mower and Benjamin got to enjoy the beautiful afternoon in his great grandpa's arms. Linnea missed all the excitement as she napped away.

Painting Easter Eggs

At last week's Thursday Refresh gathering the kids got to enjoy some Mexican Easter Traditions compliments of one of our moms.

It was Linneas first time painting eggs and she did a great job! She loved putting silver sparkles all over the eggs once she was finished painting.

He managed to get in the position in the time it took Steph to get from him to our front door, all of maybe 10 feet. Ben looked in and noticed what Benjamin had done.

Benjamin also tries to sit himself up in his bouncy seat.

When he sits in our laps he bounces and acts like he wants to get off our laps and into the middleo of whatever is going on.

Linnea's March

March was a month of sickness, with fun tucked in between the sick spells. Linnea managed to avoid any ear infections, but came down with her first serious stomach bug and oh was it fun! Poor thing had various symptoms for almost 5 days and then bounced back to her hyper little self!

She discovered the fun of sitting her in her bottom drawer.

Very excited about her new tricycle!

She had been asking for a bike since last fall, everytime we would go to a store we would always hear, "I ride bicycle, I ride bicycle?" We found one just like her mommy had when she was little and gave it to her after she recovered from a very nasty stomach bug!

Everyday she insists on dressing herself. She was rather proud of this combo and was having fun hiding in the "tree."

She is very happy with herself over her tower! She has been building towers all over the house.

Benjamin Meets His Great Aunt Nancy

Benjamin got to meet his great aunt Stella and his great aunt Nancy last month, when his great grammy was recovering from pnuemonia. Mommy forgot to take a picture of the kids with aunt Stella, and Linnea was too sick to see aunt Nancy!

The kids got to see their grandparents for a short visit in March. Too short a time for us, but just enough time for Benjamin to spit up all over his loved ones and for Linnea to insist on seeing them again right away!

Sunday to Sunday Friends

These are just a few of Linnea's little pals that she gets to play with throughout the week and at church. Hayden, Emma, Linnea, and Kayleigh just a few of our small groups small ones!

Benjamin Meets Ashley

We met up with one of Ben's former students at Chilli's. Ashley is a former student trainer, one of the originals from Ben's first years teaching at the high school.

She's awesome with babies and kids we've thought about kidnapping her from Charleston and holding her hostage to help out with our little screamers!

Another Visit to the Grandparents

Mid March we went to visit Ben's parents again so he could have step two of his root canal. As you can see Benjamin was quite content just sitting on the couch.

Linnea decided to dress herself for the trip to her grandparents and as you can see the shirt was put on backwards and she insisted that it stay that way!
