Cheerio!

So mommy sort of forgot to keep watching Linnea while she was enjoying some cheerios and well like any little adventuresome baby, they ended up everywhere before they ended up in her tummy. We had fun cleaning up the few cheerios that weren't devoured.
Linnea got to go the dr's today for her 9 month check up and we found out that she is 28 " tall and 18lbs 4.4 oz. her height continues to stay well up in the 90's for percentile, but her weight keeps dropping down the charts and mommy thought she was going to have a little rolly polly baby not one that puts on just enough weight to stretch out some more! Linnea also has her first ear infection, last week daddy brought home a cold and shared it with all of us and now poor baby ended up with an ear infection . Despite the ear infection and a yucky sounding cough she seems to be feeling great, doesn't want to take her naps and wants to get into everything :-) She even decided that she wanted to get up at 5:30 this morning! We are still trying to convince her that going to bed at 10 and waking up early just isn't a lot of fun. Ben mumbled something about fine print and not knowing about this joy of being a parent :-) Maybe by the time he retires he'll be able to sleep more, but probably then he will be worrying about his kids and what they are up to. He's already trying to convince Linnea to stay away from boys for a very long time!!!!
