At the beginning of January Steph's grandparents from Vermont came down to visit on their way to Missouri. It was wonderful getting to share our little boy with them and Linnea just loved getting to spend time with her papa, meme, and their dog Frosty. They arrived the day after New Year's and helped us celebrate Linnea's second birthday as well as Steph's mom's birthday. A very nice way to start out our 2009!
Liam just loved having his great grampa around.
Benjamin got to meet his great aunt Ava when she flew in to help drive her parents to Missouri.
It's not easy trying to get a picture of a 2yr. 1yr. and 1 month old all at once.
Dogs and babies were more interesting subjects than the camera.

Linnea took her meme and papa to Chic fil A for lunch. She had fun playing in the play area and loved it when papa held her and when she got to hold both of their hands. Linnea decided back in the summer that grampa and grammie were papa and meme. Papa stuck and she continued to call him papa whenever she would see his picture, but she started to call meme, great grammie. Right after they left for Missouri she started calling grammie, meme again. We hadn't even referred to her as meme,because to us she is grammie, but Linnea started calling her meme again and constantly talks about her meme, papa, and Frosty dog!
