Charleston

Every year in December, Charleston has a parade of boats decked out in Christmas lights. The first year we attended was 2002 to celebrate 6 months of being married. Since then we've tried to go every year, save for the two when certain little babies were either due on the day of the parade or a few weeks later! It's a fun little tradition and we had a wonderful time. We were a little disappointed that there were no fireworks after the parade, but we made up for it by going to the Jame's Island Park Festival of Lights. Ben's parents joined us for the day and we dragged them all around and had fun!

Linnea was fearless and loved standing on the railing looking at all the ships in the harbor.
Grandma and her two Benjamins.

This little guy wanted to walk all around even though it was freezing and we only had socks for him!

By the end of the day the kids had abandoned their strollers and enjoyed exploring while we walked.
